My life is my land.
Spring brings phoebes to the porch looking to line their old nest with new moss. Spring is the reintroduction of my body to miles in my trail shoes and in the saddle.
Summer is the garden. Growing and harvesting and weeding. Fall is trail running and oak wood gathering. Winter. I rest. I ski. I design and write. What you do on your land is as personal as you are. As a landowner, I understand that connection and will reflect the dreams that are as unique to you as they are to your property. There's not one "right" way. My lifetime experience and mission is promoting native plants to create sustainable landscapes. Native plants have earned that coveted sustainable label because they work. They were here before we were. They require little hand holding to survive. Native plants, however, don’t stand alone on the land. There’s always a balance to our life and the land. Slate patios, stone walls, ponds, prairies, orchards, gardens, chicken houses and trail systems are an integral part of many landscapes. Since no one person can do it all, my experience is enhanced through the connections that I have nurtured the past 20 years in the land planning and native landscaping industry. These connections housed under the Sparrow roof will provide synergy to your property. CONTACT SPARROW > |
